The Business Seller Center is proud to announce that Kevin F. Murray, Founder and Principal, has been recognized by two of the most respected organizations in the business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions profession.
At the 2026 International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) Annual Conference in Minneapolis, Kevin received the Chairman’s Circle Award for the second consecutive year. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in facilitating successful business sales and ownership transitions and is based on verified transaction performance during the prior calendar year.

Kevin was also honored by the M&A Source with its Executive Club Award for the second consecutive year, which recognizes a high level of transaction success within the mergers and acquisitions profession. Receiving both awards in back-to-back years reflects a continued commitment to helping business owners successfully navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
While professional recognition is always appreciated, these awards represent much more than individual achievement. Every completed transaction represents years, and often decades, of hard work by a business owner. Behind each closing is a family thinking about retirement, an entrepreneur preparing for a new opportunity, or an owner working to secure the value they have spent years building.
“Receiving this recognition is certainly meaningful, but what it really reflects is the trust our clients place in us throughout the process,” said Murray. “We are fortunate to work with outstanding business owners and help guide them through an important transition.”
That trust is earned one conversation at a time. Long before a business is brought to market, owners are often trying to answer important questions about value, timing, readiness, and what life may look like after a sale. Many will only go through this process once. Helping them understand their options, prepare thoughtfully, and make informed decisions is a responsibility that Kevin and the Business Seller Center take seriously.
The awards themselves are based on completed transactions, but the work behind those transactions begins long before a closing. It starts with understanding a business, learning an owner’s goals, identifying opportunities to strengthen value, and developing a strategy that aligns with what the owner hopes to accomplish. Every business is different, and every transition deserves a thoughtful approach.
Please join us in congratulating Kevin on these well-deserved accomplishments and in thanking the clients, advisors, Buyers, and referral partners who make this work possible.
